The Wishing Tomb

by Counting Hours

Funeral Fog Raw, emotional pain, melancholy of a lifetime. This album will sweep your soul into the saddest mountains. You are floating on the clouds from begin to end, there's nothing quite like it. Counting Hours have truly mastered the art of dark emotional doom. The Wishing Tomb is EASILY the best dark-doom album I've ever heard. I understand that's a massive amount of praise/statement, but I stand by it with full conviction. This album shattered my heart and I didn't want the end to arrive. Favorite track: All That Blooms (Needs To Die).

ari_saint Last year , my friend told that this band is awesome… Alltough we are.. old league metal fans, aged over 55. We found that the band is something fresh and new thinking about metal. AND it's from FINLAND as we. We only wait to see the band live.

TIMELESS ONES Shine afar, the empty stars The countless ones With her I fall through all voids Unsung, forlorn Shine, the empty stars The countless ones With her I fall Unsung, forlorn The light in the dark Unveils a death unfound And the lies are over now The light in the dark Unveils a death unfound The false days are nowhere now With sore eyes I dive into the thoughts, the timeless ones With sore eyes She dives into the thoughts, the timeless ones And we saw the trail of stars... The light in the dark Unveils a death unfound And the lies are over now The light in the dark Unveils a death unfound And the false days are nowhere now Shine afar! We're the timeless ones

Away I Flow 05:56
AWAY I FLOW I´m following your trail of tears Into darkness And it´s coming back piece by piece This nothingness we lived in Now left behind At the crossroads we had to part At last Forging this fire means nothing We´ll fall - trying to live for something We're following your trail of tears Into darkness `Cause at the crossroads we had to part At last For the voices inside And by following those lights unknown Away i flow No desire to live The sacrifice is all there is Away i flow

ALL THAT BLOOMS (NEEDS TO DIE) The weight of darkness is over me I want sorrow to lead Through the fires To the fields unknown There´s my solace Inside I´m burning Led by will I tremble All that blooms needs to die I´m mesmerised Fed with hopes I shiver It haunts from inside And it will follow us
5.
STARLIT/LIFELESS Her body starlit and lifeless We lie here on the leaves white Her body starlit and lifeless No memory where we came from here Into this darkness Cries from far will echo inside As we chose to leave the false shadow Into the dark alive Found the path that lured us to follow To another place and time
6.
THE WISHING TOMB Empty glory of life Those norms can't sanctify The dream dead before your eyes The one that you once had It's true at dawn We'll exit here Not afraid to fade away Away into the bliss With no fear No reason to stay now Until we are dust Here, deep int the woods We're standing at the wishing tomb And asking if all this Could be over, could be over Until we are but dust on their skins No-one will find us in this darkness Free us! Until we are but dust In this darkness...
7.
No Closure 04:50
NO CLOSURE Bound to her sorrow I gaze into the stars To find reason Why she left this planet No closure There's no closure to my grief Bound to her sorrow I walk into the woods To search for solace And understanding I soar in the forest With death in my sight Now time won't heal me I'm one with this darkness
8.
A Mercy Fall 04:59
A MERCY FALL Through the years The days filled with bottomless grief Followed us And all this time Drawn into the lights we saw It's a mercy fall In the cold lights of this nothingness I'm free at last 'Cause in dust we found our stillness A starless sky Full of life And it's empty for us We know that it's here we stay now It's empty for us This void is all that matters now And it's empty for us We know that it's here we stay now And it's empty for us This void is all that counts
9.
THIS WELL OF FAILURES At the crossroads We chose failure No other way Another route At the crossroads We chose sacrifice No other way Another route Surviving in this night starless is better than before somehow And the leaves they fill The air They fall upon us We´re free
